Day 2 - February 2, 2011

Today, we compiled a list of mechanisms we could use for our game. One of them involves the ability for the pirates to manipulate the actions of the tribes.

We also incorporated a strategy concept through the use of golden idols (point system). As the pirates build their roads they may come across golden idols which they can keep with them. If suppose they run into a tribesman they can return the idol and be set free or have to start over again.

A spinner containing the options of building, manipulating the tribe, or moving is used. If you land on moving, you must roll the dice to find out how many spaces you are allowed to move. This is the chance element of our game.

Other notes:
-Our game takes place in a jungle on a remote island.
